LPTVBA is proud to have a seat at the table.
On April 17, Federal Communications Commission Chairwoman Jessica Rosenworcel announced the “Future of Television Initiative” (the FTI). The FTI will be a public-private partnership to establish a roadmap for an orderly transition to the ATSC 3.0 broadcast television transmission standard that will allow broadcasters to innovate and better serve the public interest. The National Association of Broadcasters will establish and lead the FTI, which will include government, industry, and public interest stakeholders. The LPTVBA will be a member of Working Group 2, “Completing the Transition.”
